Just wanted to ask where you've been finding/how you've been making enhanced versions of images from the newspaper. I saw you uploaded a higher quality version of File:Verda Freeman Welcome.jpg from the newspaper - did you just happen to come across a higher quality scan of that specific photo, or did you have a better source for Baltimore Sun scans? Just reverse image search unfortunately I really wish there was some high quality archive of the magazines but it's just whatever I could find by search or randomly on ebay listings

Also special:Diff/1151240548 is there a purpose in putting space before the year in the by year category? (I don't know I normally remove it..)

Ahh, I'll try some reverse searches, thanks!

And I added the space to make four of the subcats of "Baltimore Sun by Year" uniform with all the others - the lack of leading space was making the four subcats render under the alphanumeric heading "1", while all the other subcats were just listed chronologically without a subhead. It looked weird so I just checked for a formatting difference, I figured the leading space was intentional and had just been mistakenly omitted from the ones I changed. Hi, Are aware of the current discussion at Commons:Village pump#Openly licensed propaganda/terrorist material? There are very serious accusations. I think that you should stop uploading images from the Iranian government until a consensus is found. Otherwise, more stringent measures may be taken. In the future, you should have a better curation of your uploads: change the title and edit the description (maybe while keeping the original with a warning) to neutral ones, and only upload relevant images, with a clear educational uses. We do not need thousands of pictures of propaganda. I do not advocate deletion of your files (at least not yet), but you need to take all criticisms very seriously. You upload a ton of some of the best images on the site, and I was wondering if you could upload some more photos, color (preferrably), of NBA players from the 80s to 90s. I don't really have good photos of Jordan, but like 80s-90s players such as Hakeem, Kareem, Magic, Bird, Julius Erving, Isiah Thomas, Kevin McHale, Robert Parish, Patrick Ewing, Dominique Wilkins, James Worthy, Alex English, George Gervin, Bill Laimbeer and Charles Barkley are all in need of high quality, color images of them. Can you please try and find some since you are so good at that already? It would be much preferred as I am struggling myself to do so. Hi, I see your note on this is "The newspaper has no copyright notice on it."

Are you saying the entire newspaper was published without notice,i.e., that the Miami Herald put its entire output out as public domain? That seems unlikely.

Or do you mean only that the photo itself did not have a copyright notice? If the latter, that does not affect the copyright. @Fma12 I really don't see the point in making a whole new category just for El Gráfico photos of an event, it just an extra click for people to find them, or for putting an event into El Gráfico year category when there can always be images from other sources. Well, we don't have to think the same way. The problem with El Gráfico is that (from the 1970s especially) categories separated by year are not enough to organise the great amount of images. The idea of creating categories for each issue is not bad and I could use it when many images came from the same issue.

I think this is a good idea and would help a lot in files categorisation, especially in categories such as Category:El Gráfico, 1980 or Category:El Gráfico, 1981 which have a large amount of files.

Moreover, I would add the year to those categories to make search still easier, p.e. Category:Association football in El Gráfico in 1980 (children category of Category:Association football in El Gráfico).
